January was AGM month.
A few of the major points were that it was proposed by Paul, and after discussion was passed by the membership, that for the next year the entry charge for professional demonsttration days would be £14.00.
This is to try and keep control of the financial state of the club.

All committee member reports were accepted and two new members were elected to the committee to complement the existing committee members. Chris Withall and Patricia Norton. They will assume suitable responsibilities in due course. The AGM completed 11:30

The main lathe was set up and Paul did a demonstration of a Bird of some sort. Keith had set his lathe up and was demonstrating how to turn a celtic knot seam ripper. and a drop spindle. There was also time for beginners to have a go. Paul also explained bevels to a new member.

The next meeting will be a club day. Saturday February 10th.
